Description 1.  The Front Patching/Splicing Shelf, EK0701-34 is a shelf assembly for the fiber management system that provides the function of cable splicing and patch cord patching and connecting in a rack environment. 2.  EK0701-34 has a capacity of 128 patching points. This shelf can be used with 19 ”  or metric racks. Multiple configurations are possible: − Patching only − Splicing and patching of either loose tube cable or intra-facility cable 3.  All shelves consist of a metal chassis with drawer. 4.  A metal front patch frame with 8 rows of 16 connector positions is mounted on the drawer.
